Russia doesn't dare to conduct its planned exercises in Black Sea - Ukrainian Navy spokesman
Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk says that the Russian Black Sea Fleet is undergoing a regular training process and will most likely perform combat missions in the Sea of Azov
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"The Russian Black Sea Fleet has started a new training season, which starts twice a year. In addition, they have changed the leadership of the Black Sea Fleet, which everyone has already forgotten about, but the new leadership may make some new moves. As of now, it is most likely that the Black Sea Fleet is conducting a regular training process, i.e. a planned one. But of course, they don't dare to do it in the Black Sea for obvious reasons, because their training could end very sadly for them. That's why the Russians decided to do it in the Sea of Azov, most likely,” commented Pletenchuk.
According to him, there were seven units in Novorossiysk on the morning of June 8, including three Buyan-M missile ships and three large landing craft of various designs.
“You realize that there is no place to land in the Azov Sea. Most likely, the Russians will be practicing training and combat missions in the Azov Sea,” summarized the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy.
- On June 8, the Ukrainian Navy reported that one warship was on duty in the Black Sea. Instead, Russia deployed 7 vessels to the Azov Sea, 3 of which are missile carriers.
