Russian strike damages 154 houses in Lviv, reconstruction will cost UAH 100 million
Reconstruction of residential buildings damaged by the Russian attack will cost more than UAH 100 million
This was stated by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi on the Espreso TV channel.
‘All houses will be rebuilt. Reconstruction will cost more than UAH 100 million, there is a lot of damage. Only expertise and specific projects will give the final price. Utilities have already started work,’ he said.
A total of 154 buildings in Lviv were damaged by the Russian strike, the mayor said.
‘The city's housing stock was attacked. There is not a single infrastructure facility here. More than 10 houses need serious restoration work, some were completely destroyed due to direct hits from missiles or drones. Our task is to restore all the houses. We have started the necessary work. We are completely evicting people from 6 houses. They will have the opportunity to stay in a hotel or rent an apartment wherever they are comfortable. We will finance everything, it is our duty. The operation to rescue people after the Russian attack has already ended. The hospitalized people are being provided with all the necessary support and assistance. About 8 surgeries have been performed so far,’ Sadovyi noted.
