On the morning of December 17, a scooter standing next to the entrance of a residential building exploded on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow. As a result, the head of Russia's Troops of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence, Igor Kirillov, and his assistant were killed.
According to unofficial data from the Baza Telegram channel, the explosive device could have been attached to the handlebars of a scooter standing near the entrance. At the same time, the explosion was said to have occurred at a height of about a meter from the ground.
“This information has not been officially confirmed,” the channel writes.
- The day before the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has issued a notice of suspicion in absentia to Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia's Troops of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence. Under his orders, Russian forces used chemical weapons against Ukraine's Defense Forces more than 4,800 times.
