Russia claims to have downed 24 UAVs: media report blasts near Ryazan air base

Russia's Defense Ministry reports an alleged UAV attack on 6 Russian regions, while the media write about explosions near the air base in Ryazan

The Russian Defense Ministry reported the information.

"During the past night, attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs on targets in the Russian Federation were thwarted," the statement says.

It is noted that Russian air defense reportedly shot down and intercepted 24 drones, including 6 over the Rostov region, 5 over the Bryansk region, 4 over the Belgorod region, 3 over the Ryazan region, 1 over the Astrakhan region, and 5 over the Krasnodar region.

Russian media outlet Astra, citing local residents, reports explosions in the Dyagilevo area in Ryazan, where an airbase is located.
