Russia reports drone attack on three distilleries in Tula and Tambov regions
On the night of Tuesday, October 22, Russian authorities reported a drone attack on three distilleries in the Tula and Tambov regions and an industrial enterprise in the Voronezh region
The attack on the Voronezh region was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev.
He stated that a UAV was allegedly detected and suppressed in one of the districts, which subsequently crashed into a workshop building of an industrial enterprise.
Later, the governor added that according to preliminary information, the walls of one of the company's workshops were damaged. No one was injured.
The attack on the Tambov region was reported by Governor Maxim Yegorov.
According to him, at 05:20 a.m. today in the town of Rasskazovo, an explosion followed by a fire occurred at the Biokhim plant as a result of a drone hit.
The governor added that the fire was extinguished at 06:24 a.m., with no casualties.
Earlier, Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported on the attack on Tula region.
"Last night, in the Tula region, air defense units of the Russian Ministry of Defense stopped an attack by an Ukrainian UAV," he wrote.
Milyaev said that the premises of the Efremov distillery and a distillery in the village of Luzhkovsky, Suvorov district, were allegedly damaged.

Why distilleries are considered military targets
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center, stated that Russians use distilleries not only for producing alcohol but also for manufacturing fuel for military purposes and explosives, making them legitimate targets.
“Biokhim, which processes molasses and produces ethyl alcohol, Luzhkovsky distillery, Efremovsky distillery, and an industrial enterprise in the Voronezh region — these are all military facilities, despite being disguised as something else,” Kovalenko wrote.
Russia claimed to have shot down 110 Ukrainian drones during the night of October 20. Meanwhile, drones from Ukraine's Security Service and Defence Forces successfully struck an explosives factory in Dzerzhynsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, and a military airfield in Russia's Lipetsk region.
