Russia loses 8 tanks, 29 artillery systems, and 810 soldiers in one day – Ukraine's General Staff

This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total Russian combat losses from 24.02.22 to 25.02.24 were approximately:

Ukrainian Defense Forces repel multiple Russian attacks in 7 directions, especially in Marinka

Thus, according to the General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops did not conduct any offensives. 

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's soldiers repelled 3 Russian attacks near Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed 14 attacks in the vicinity of Lastochkyne, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske. 

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the area of Novomykhailivka, where they tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 39 times.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 1 Russian attack south of Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 5 Russian attacks were repelled near Robotyne.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukraine's soldiers keep holding their positions and repelling Russia's attacks. Suffering losses, the Russian army does not give up trying to displace Ukrainian units. Thus, over the past day, they made 2 unsuccessful assaults on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

Ukrainian forces continue to inflict losses in Russian manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Shahed drones strike Ukraine, while 13 Russian positions targeted by Ukraine’s Armed Forces

The enemy launched a total of 9 missile attacks and 77 air strikes, executing 119 MLRS attacks on our troops and populated areas. Tragically, civilian casualties have occurred, with high-rise buildings, private residences, and other civil infrastructure sustaining destruction and damage.

Overnight, Russian invaders initiated another assault on Ukraine, deploying Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Further details about this attack are being clarified.

Airstrikes hit the settlements of Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, Nadiya in the Luhansk region, and Zarichne, Bohdanivka, New York, Dyliivka, Oleksandropil, Novoselivka Persha, Berdychi, Semenivka, Novobakhmutivka, Orlivka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine, Staromayorske in the Donetsk region. Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region were also affected.

Artillery fire struck over 120 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Throughout the day, Defense Forces' aviation targeted 13 Russian personnel concentration areas. Additionally, our defenders successfully neutralized 2 Kh-31 missiles and 4 reconnaissance UAVs.

Missile troop units inflicted damage on 1 radar station and 2 enemy personnel concentration zones.
