Russia has enough missiles for multiple waves of strikes on Ukraine — military expert Zgurets
Serhiy Zgurets, military expert and CEO of the Defense Express media and consulting company, noted that Russia is currently seeking to launch renewed missile attacks on Ukraine
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The massive cruise missile attack recently launched by Russia, using almost its entire arsenal of strike weapons, was the largest assault following a prolonged buildup of strike capabilities, including cruise missiles. While our air defense effectively handled the threat, Russia still has sufficient reserves for several more waves of strikes," Zgurets noted.
According to themilitary expert, Russia is currently attempting to implement strategies for renewed attacks. The U.S., based on its intelligence, which it shares with Ukraine, assesses the risk of further attacks as quite high. This also influences the messaging from the U.S. Embassy.
"I am certain these threats and warnings are not new to our air defense systems. I believe our military is actively preparing for a potential attack Russia may carry out," Zgurets added.
- The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv says it has received specific information about a possible major Russian air attack on Ukraine on Wednesday, November 20. The Center for Countering Disinformation reports that Russia has been stockpiling missiles in preparation for a series of attacks on Ukraine over several months.
