Romania claims wreckage of Russian Shahed UAV crashed on its territory. NATO reacts
For the second night in a row, an air raid alert was declared in the Romanian border town of Tulcea, the wreckage of a Russian drone was found in the Plauru area

At about 1:20 a.m., the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations issued an air raid alert.
“We make it clear that the territory of our country is not the object of attacks by the Russian Federation, and these messages are aimed at informing the population that there is a possibility of objects falling from the downing of unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of Romania,” the inspectorate said in a statement.
This is the second alert issued to the population of Romania's northern district of Tulcea County in 24 hours.

Digi 24, citing its own sources, reported that Romanian soldiers were deployed to investigate in Tulcea County. They found metal parts that could be components of Russian drones near the city of Plauru in the Danube Delta.
Later, Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu confirmed that the UAV debris had fallen on Romanian territory.
“Wreckage was found on the territory of Romania. We have informed and are coordinating with our allies on this issue. Romania strongly condemns these irresponsible actions,” she said in a statement.
NATO's reaction
NATO has addressed the recent fall of Russian Shahed drone wreckage in Romania. A NATO spokesman stated that there is no evidence suggesting the incident was a deliberate attack by Russia. However, he described Russia's actions as irresponsible and potentially dangerous, as reported by the BBC.
“While NATO has no information indicating any deliberate attack by Russia on an ally's territory, these actions are irresponsible and potentially dangerous,” the NATO spokesman said.
