State Department spokesman Matthew Miller reported the information.
“So my understanding is that the Government of Romania is conducting an investigation into this matter. We have full confidence in that investigation into the explosion near their border with Ukraine, and we commend them for the professional and deliberate manner in which they are conducting it,” he said.
According to him, the United States is not conducting an investigation, but is ready to help Romania if it asks. “If they asked us for any cooperation, of course we would be willing to do that, but it’s an investigation being carried out by them.”
- On the night of July 24, residents of the northern part of the border Tulcea county in Romania were informed of an air raid alert due to a Russian drone.
- Today's incident in Romania was also mentioned by the Ukrainian Air Force and the Romanian media.
