Pro-Russian collaborators seize Ukrainian housing in Kherson region with “ownerless” fund
Collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region have established a special housing fund for "ownerless" properties to seize real estate from Ukrainians
The National Resistance Center reported the information.
Pro-Russian collaborators have established a fund to seize housing in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine’s Kherson region from its rightful owners.
They classify housing as "ownerless" if its owners are absent for several months. The Center notes that Russia plans to use the seized properties to accommodate "heroes" of the so-called "special military operation" or representatives of the Russian armed forces.
"Earlier, the so-called ‘People’s Council of the LPR (Luhansk People’s Republic - ed.)’ considered amending the local ‘law’ according to which the occupation administrations identify, use, and recognize the municipal ownership of residential premises with signs of ‘ownerless property,’" the Center emphasizes.
