"In a month it will be two years since the city of Kupiansk was de-occupied. Our city is located on the front line. There is constant enemy shelling and destruction here. The Russians are trying to destroy the city, to destroy all life in it," emphasized Besedin.

According to the head of the Kupyansk City Military Administration, the Olympic Games are currently taking place in France, and the entire civilized world is competing for sports achievements and results. Ukraine is competing for survival, independence and sovereignty. Each of Ukrainians, especially Ukraine's soldiers on the front line, risk their lives every second for a free and independent Ukraine.

"By installing the Olympic flag in Kupiansk, we want the whole world to see and hear that we are a united country and an unbreakable people. And we will definitely win not only in the sporting events, but also over the terrorist country that came to our land," added Besedin.
