The Babel writes about it.

The El País newspaper writes that the body of a man with a Ukrainian passport was found on 13 February on the ramp of a communal garage in the resort town of Alicante. He had been shot and run over by his own car. The police have not officially named the deceased, but the newspaper's sources say it is Kuzminov.

The Europa Press agency adds that the deceased's documents may be forged, and law enforcement officials have launched an additional investigation.

El Español newspaper, citing sources involved in the investigation, reports on several suspects. They do not name their number, only note that they had been following Kuzminov for a long time, studying his daily routine and gaining access to the cameras in the garage where he parked. The sources called the perpetrators of the murder specialists.

On February 19, news spread online that Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov, who had flown a Russian Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in the summer of 2023 during a HUR operation, was found dead in Spain. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine confirmed Kuzminov's death.

"We can confirm the fact of the death," Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, told RBC-Ukraine.

What is known about the special operation "Titmouse"

On August 23, it was reported that a Russian Mi-8 helicopter had landed at one of Ukraine's airfields in Kharkiv region.

It was a HUR special operation that lasted more than 6 months. Ukrainian intelligence lured the Mi-8 pilot to Ukraine. The aircraft was flying between two air bases and transporting parts for Su-27 and Su-30SM fighters.

It is also noted that along with the pilot, two crew members on board did not know where the helicopter was actually flying. As a result of the special operation, two crew members were killed. The pilot and his family are in Ukraine, and the family was taken out of Russia in advance.

The helicopter is completely intact and will be returned to the Ukrainian Armed Forces after a detailed examination of its equipment.
