Kadyrov soldiers will be eliminated if Russia tries to enter Sumy region -  military expert

He said this on the Espreso TV channel.

"Such provocations are possible not only on the borders of the Kharkiv region. We also talk about the possibility of such provocations on the border of Sumy region. It is no coincidence that Kadyrov's battalions are concentrated there. But it is worth saying that here Russia will be solving several issues for itself. Firstly, it is escalation of tension, and secondly, the disposal of Kadyrov's battalions," Snegiryov said.

It is not accidental that they have been placed under the command of Russian Colonel Denis Lapin, the military expert said.

"Lapin has a personal conflict with Ramzan Kadyrov. Let me remind you that the latter criticized Lapin's activities and made negative remarks about his military abilities. Therefore, I do not rule out that this is a special operation of the Russian secret services to eliminate Kadyrov's personal guard," Sniehyriov added.

• On May 10, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that defensive battles are currently taking place in the Kharkiv region. Counter-attacks continue in the areas of Lyptsi and Vovchansk. The enemy is using infantry and equipment. 
• On May 11, the Atesh guerrilla movement reported that Russian troops were refusing to attack Kharkiv.
• A member of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Oleksandr Skoryk, spoke about the situation in the Kharkiv region as of May 11 and Russia’s aims for the offensive.
