The new German military aid package to Ukraine includes:
- 179 mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAP)
- Ammunition for the main battle tank Leopard 1
- Ammunition for Marder infantry fighting vehicles
- 282,000 rounds for self-propelled anti-aircraft guns
- Gepard SAM systems
- IRIS-T SLM missiles
- IRIS-T SLS missiles
- 6 Zuzana 2 wheeled self-propelled howitzers
- 422,000 155mm artillery shells
- 21,000 122mm artillery shells
- 900 HF-1 strike UAVs
- 499 VECTOR UAVs with spare parts
- 684 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones
- 211 SONGBIRD reconnaissance drones
- 46 HORNET XR reconnaissance drones
- 59 WISENT 1 mine-clearing tanks with spare parts
- 77 mine plows
- 467,000 40mm ammunition rounds
- 450 MG5 machine guns
- 3,410 HK 416 assault rifles
- 4,905 MK 556 assault rifles
- 484 HLR 338 precision rifles with 314,000 rounds
- 881 CR 308 rifles
- 73 AK-47 assault rifles
Among other special equipment, Germany has also provided Ukraine with 765 laser rangefinders and border security equipment. The package includes over 60 million small arms ammunition rounds, 88,400 woolen blankets, 14,766 sleeping bags, and 343,400 tourniquets.
Germany’s Ministry of Defense assured that Berlin "will not shy away" from sending its troops to Ukraine after the war if such a decision is agreed upon.
