Front is cracking, but not falling apart - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets says that the Russian army is operating at the limit of its logistical capabilities
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“The front is cracking, but not falling apart. We have 800 kilometers of the front, 9 of the toughest areas out of 11. There is a retreat from some of the most difficult areas, but the front is not falling apart. The question is how to maintain this thin, stretched line of our defense so that the enemy does not break through. After all, it will be difficult to hold back the adversary later. But the enemy is acting at the limit of its logistical capabilities,” Zgurets said.
According to the director of Defense Express company, Russia is currently throwing reserves in all directions of the front so that Ukraine does not have the opportunity to transfer its own reserves to different areas.
“Russia's replenishment rates are not significant. They are higher than ours, but not enough to ensure operational breakthroughs that can frighten our citizens who say that after Pokrovsk there will be a breakthrough to the Dnipro. There are still a lot of sections to reach Pokrovsk. Now we see that Pokrovsk is well fortified, but this does not mean that this defense will be really strong. There are still many areas before Pokrovsk where the enemy can be destroyed,” emphasized Zgurets.
