The Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this.

“In war, every second counts. Especially when it comes to the soldiers' lives. The sooner the wounded soldier is provided with medical care, the sooner he is taken to a stabilization center, the more likely it is that his life will be saved or that the injury will cause less damage to his health,” the post reads.

Border guards rescued a seriously wounded man, evacuating him incredibly quickly

They say that during the fighting in the Vovchansk direction, an evacuation team of border guards managed to evacuate their seriously wounded colleague in an incredible 15 minutes.

“We received an order to go after the 300th in armor, so we jumped into our ‘Roshel’ and immediately moved,” recalls the border guard with the nickname Eksi.

The soldier was wounded by shrapnel from a drone.

“It was an FPV, the shrapnel hit the soldier's legs and head, and he was completely covered in blood. When I was helping him, he was already losing consciousness, but later, after receiving drips, he regained consciousness and even walked to the next evacuation vehicle,” added border guard Jan.
