UNITED24 reports.
American actress, star of the TV series "Melrose Place" and "Charmed," Alyssa Milano has joined the ambassadors of UNITED24 and will be raising funds for Ukraine. She will support the "Education and Science" direction. Hilary Swank, star of the films Boys Don't Cry, Million Dollar Baby and P.S. I Love You, has also become an ambassador for the fundraising platform. She will focus her efforts on supporting the Medical Aid program.
“Today, I am so happy to join the ambassador team of UNITED24, President Zelenskyy's official fundraising platform. Ukraine needs our support more than ever before. The full-scale war in Ukraine is brutal, vile and barbaric. It has to end with just peace and Ukraine's victory,” the actress emphasized.
She also addressed Ukrainians, expressing her support. “I want Ukrainians to know that I will stand with Ukraine and I will support them on this path,” Milano added.
Hilary Swank also captured an emotional video.
"For over two years, Ukraine has been suffering from a cruel, brutal and unjust Russian invasion. Peace and safety for the people of Ukraine is a must, and we should help them achieve this. I stand by the people of Ukraine and I invite you to join me," Swank said in her address.
