Russia shells residential buildings in Sumy region, 69 strikes per day recorded

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the information.

Russian troops shelled 7 territorial communities: Velykopysarivka, Esman, Khotyn, Novoslobidka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia and Shalyhyne.

Russian troops had been shelling the Velykopysarivka community with mortars since 09:50 a.m., 10 strikes recorded. Esman community: 2 mortar attacks were recorded, 11 strikes in total. Khotyn community: 9 artillery attacks.

"Novoslobidka community: mortar attacks on the community took place at 1:20 p.m., 10 strikes recorded. At 5:20 p.m. 8 more strikes were recorded. As a result of the explosions at 5:20 p.m. in Boyaro-Lezhachi village, 4 residential buildings and adjacent outbuildings were damaged. Bilopillia community also came under mortar fire, suffering 7 strikes," the administration said.

At 2:05 p.m., Russian troops dropped 1 explosive device (VOG type) on Krasnopillia community from a UAV. Shalyhyne community: Russian troops dropped 6 mines on its territory.

In all cases, there were no casualties. A total of 69 strikes were recorded.
