Russia shells gymnasium in Nikopol, killing four people
On October 11, the invading Russian army shelled a gymnasium in the town of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The shelling killed four civilians
This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
According to him, rescuers have completed the rubble removal, four people have died.
"Four people were killed as a result of the Russian strike: A 72-year-old man and three women aged 69, 67 and 60. Two more people were injured. They are being provided with the necessary medical care," Klymenko wrote.
The injured civilians are employees of the educational institution.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, clarified that two men aged 24 and 71 were injured.
"The building itself has been severely damaged. 42 private houses and 18 outbuildings were also damaged. Also, an infrastructure facility, 17 solar panels, a shop, and a car were damaged," the official wrote.
