Russia shells cafe, library, shop in Kharkiv, killing and injuring civilians
Russian assaults on Kharkiv, June 8, kill 2 civilians and injure 4 more. A further 7 people were injured by Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region
Kharkiv regional military administration head Oleg Synegubov shared the Russian attack consequences in his Telegram channel.
"Last night, Russian forces continued to terrorize the civilian population of the region with massive shelling. In Kharkiv, shells hit a cafe, school library and shop. 2 people were killed and 4 wounded," he wrote.
On June 8, Russia shelled Tsyrkuny, Malodanilivsk, Korobochkyne, Pechenigy, Zolochiv, Barvinkove, Balakliya and Pervomaisky villages. Houses, outbuildings, warehouses and garages were damaged. 7 people were injured.
"In Elitne village, a tractor driver was injured when he blew up in a field by a Russian mine. Once again, I emphasize the importance of cooperation with State emergency sappers and the military, starting agricultural work!," Synegubov emphasized.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russia is focused on defense, mining bypasses. In the Izyum area, Russian forces are preparing another attempt to attack Slovyansk and Barvinkove.
