Russia retains most combat-ready airborne brigades during southern retreat
Andrii Teteruk, an officer with the Free Ukraine resistance movement, believes that the enemy hasn't yet used Russian army reserves at the front
He said this on Espreso TV.
“The 300,000 Russian mobilized soldiers who have been conducting intensive training for six months should be taken into account as a serious danger. We also need to pay attention to the fact that Putin has announced a second wave of mobilization and about 100,000-200,000 more will be mobilized. These people have only one regret: that their generals steal money and do not allow them to be better equipped to kill Ukrainians more effectively. For the last 20 years, Putin's regime has been purposefully accumulating hatred and dehumanizing the Ukrainian nation, which allows the Russians to kill us. Russian reserves have not actually been used yet,” Teteruk emphasized.
According to him, Russian army units are fighting in the eastern part of the frontline, performing positional combat tasks.
“The positions of both sides are practically unchanged. 100 meters is definitely not an offensive. During the southern retreat, Russia retained its most combat-ready airborne brigades, and it has not yet used them. When Russia uses such trained units, we will see offensive actions. To devalue the potential of the Russian Federation is to put us in danger,” Teteruk emphasized.
