Russia prepares for general mobilization - military expert Popovych
Military expert Denys Popovych noted on Espreso TV that Russia does not have the resources to train a million-strong army, but accelerates mobilization
"The capacities of the Russian training grounds do not allow to train more than 90,000 people over a short time. Russia now plans a new wave of mobilization for December or January, which will now be not partial, but general this time. Although the previous so-called “partial” mobilization has never been completed. They just conduct it secretly now," Popovych remarked.
According to the military expert, reports are coming from Russia that the conscription is still ongoing.
"There was no decree of the President of the Russian Federation that the mobilization had ended. There was only a statement that it had ended. For the military commissars, this is not a reason to stop the mobilization, so they continue to issue call-up papers. And they want to amplify these processes. This may happen in consideration of Russian losses in the war, and their losses are significant. Therefore, there is no doubt that mobilization in the Russian Federation will accelerate," argued Popovych.
