Russia loses several companies in eastern Ukraine over a day - Cherevatyi

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to do the same in the east. While our brothers-in-arms are hitting the enemy in the south, we are hitting them in the east," Cherevatyi emphasized.

According to the spokesman, the main directions of Russian attacks are Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

"The fiercest, bloodiest battles are taking place in the Donetsk region, where Russian troops suffer the most losses. The battles are also taking place in the Luhansk direction. The enemy is unable to break through the defense of the Armed Forces. The enemy uses all types of artillery and uses Soviet tactics of frontal assault," Cherevatyi said.
