Russia loses 6,000 pieces of equipment, doesn't have time to replenish munitions - US report
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 6,000 pieces of equipment. It uses munitions on a scale that it will not be able to compensate for under sanctions

It is noted that Russia's ability to create complex precision weapons has already suffered from export control measures that limit Russia's access to advanced technologies.
Sanctions have also led to a shortage of less complex technologies in the Russian Federation, for example: bearings, which complicates the production and repair of tanks, aircraft, submarines, and other military systems.
In addition, the US has also noted that since May, Russia has been short of critical supplies of diesel engines, helicopter and aircraft engine parts, as well as its armored tanks. There were also problems with the execution of defense orders from foreign countries.
To circumvent the sanctions, the Russian special services were ordered to "illegally buy Western technologies and parts," the report notes. Russia is also seeking supplies from countries such as Iran and North Korea, which are also under Western sanctions.
According to a senior US official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Washington is looking for other "bottlenecks" in the technological process that would make it difficult for Russia to produce military equipment - such as ball bearings and fasteners.
