Russia has renounced the truce at Easter. Kyslytsya reminded that Russia is not a founding member of the United Nations

This is stated in a message by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, on Twitter.

So, Guterres proposed to establish a "humanitarian pause" before Easter from April 21 to organize humanitarian corridors and evacuate civilians. The Ukrainian side agreed to such a truce, but the Russians did not.

"The position of the Moscow Fuhrer was announced within a few hours at the Security Council", Kyslytsya said.

The diplomat released a video with the wording of the refusal of the leadership of the Russian Federation from the truce.

In particular, the representative of Russia said that the truce is allegedly "a desire to give Kyiv nationalists and radicals a break so that they can regroup", and also that this will allow the Ukrainian side to "arrange new inhuman provocations and launch new fakes about the actions of Russian soldiers".

Kyslytsya also reacted to the statements of the press secretary of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric regarding the alleged fact that the Russian Federation is one of the founding countries of the Organization. It was in a UN statement that Guterres sent inquiries to Ukraine and Russia regarding his request for an audience with heads of state.

"Ooops! What a blooper! Let it be remembered: Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic that maintained its MFA in 1945, nor RF was present in San Francisco or signed Charter. If @StephDujarric office shows a RSFSR signature in SF I call it forgery. RF is not a founding member!", wrote Kyslytsya.

He reminded that Russia had not signed the UN Charter and hoped that the Secretariat of the Organization "will further AVOID PUTTIN’ itself in an embarrassing position".

Reference: The UN was founded in 1945 at an international conference attended by 50 countries. Among them are the Ukrainian SSR, the Belarusian SSR and the USSR. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia did not join the UN, because it considers itself the successor to the USSR.
