Russia has no resources to destabilize situation in Moldova - SBU Major General Yahun
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) Major General Viktor Yahun believes that Russia will not be able to destabilize the situation in Transnistria and Moldova
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Russia's statements about Ukraine's preparations for an invasion of Transnistria are a very good example of Russian PSYOP. Russia really wants Ukraine to get involved in another conflict. They need this in order to launch missiles on the territory of Moldova and destabilize the situation in this country," Yahun explained.
The SBU Major General emphasized that Ukraine and Moldova do not succumb to Russian provocations in Transnistria.
"I believe the position of the Ukrainian leadership and the Moldovan authorities is coordinated with our partners in the West. Therefore, we will not succumb to Russian provocations in unrecognized Transnistria. Russia does not have the forces and resources to destabilize the situation in Transnistria and Moldova. Russia's plan for a coup d'état in Moldova did not succeed. That is why provocations in Transnistria will not succeed either," he added.
