Russia intensifies PSYOP on mass migration of Ukrainians from EU to Russia
Russian propaganda has intensified its disinformation campaign about the alleged mass migration of Ukrainians from the EU to Russia
This is reported by Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation.
Experts from the Center for Countering Disinformation have recorded an intensification of the Russian disinformation campaign about the alleged mass migration of Ukrainians from the EU to Russia.
"They say that Ukrainians are allegedly disillusioned with Europe and see that it is 'better to live in Russia'. At the same time, Russian propaganda campaigns in favor of such a move, assuring that the Russian state will help them with adaptation, housing, and even ‘re-educate the half-Banderites’" writes the Center for Countering Disinformation.
The goal of the Russian PSYOP is to promote the narrative that "Russians and Ukrainians are one people." The propagandists want to justify the invasion of Ukraine and Russian war crimes.
"Also, with this campaign, the Russians are trying to create a split between Ukrainians who stayed at home and those who left, in order to destabilize and weaken the situation in Ukraine. Do not succumb to the enemy's manipulations," the statement says.
- The Russian Federation said that if French President Emmanuel Macron sends troops to Ukraine, they will be considered legitimate targets by the Russian military.
