Millions died in Biden's puppet war with Russia: foreign manipulations for June 28
Canadian journalist Aaron Maté said that the United States wants to maintain the militarization of Ukraine as a de facto NATO puppet on the border with Russia
On June 28, Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian manipulations that were published in the world media.
Manipulation: German-Finnish blogger Kim Dotcom wrote on his X page: "How sad that millions died in Biden's puppet war with Russia. Ukrainians watching Biden now realize that it was all for nothing."
Rebuttal: The blogger is promoting a long-standing Russian narrative about a "proxy war between the United States and Russia." However, the support for Ukraine by the United States and other countries is not a proxy policy but an effort to uphold international law, specifically the principles of territorial integrity and state sovereignty.
Manipulation: Canadian journalist Aaron Maté stated: "In an effort to flout both Ukraine's Constitution and public opinion, the Biden administration was not 'concerned' that Ukraine's neutrality meant 'unilateral disarmament.' Instead, it wanted to preserve the US-led militarization of Ukraine as a de facto NATO puppet on the border with Russia - a project that led to the unilateral destruction of Ukraine."
Rebuttal: Russia's aggression is the main cause of destruction and loss of life in Ukraine. Western support, including from the United States, aims to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities and protect its citizens from Russian aggression.
- On June 27, Russian media launched disinformation accusing Ukraine of neo-Nazism.
