Russia deploys 800 security forces servicemen to Zaporizhzhia region - Mariupol mayor
According to the Mariupol Mayor Ivan Fedorov, Russian forces have deployed 800 police officers from Russia’s Rostov and Krasnodar regions to Zaporizhzhia region
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, shared the information on the United News national telethon.
He noted that Russian forces continue to implement the model of a police state on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories: for example, Russian media reported about the arrival of 800 security forces from the Rostov and Krasnodar regions to Ukrainian territories.
"They are going to drive the visiting police officers to work in Tokmak, Polohy and Vasylivka, and take them to a safer place at night, as they are afraid of guerillas," he emphasized.
Ivan Fedorov also noted that Russian troops have started abducting people and holding them captive more often.

Earlier, Ivan Fedorov said that the Kremlin had issued an order to establish 28 prisons on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, including 2 penal colonies and a settlement colony.

He also informed that Russian occupation authorities are actively propagating among Ukrainian children on the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region.
