This statement was made by Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade Representative Taras Kachka during a meeting of the World Trade Organisation, and he published a statement on Facebook.
"This is a human famine designed by Russia. They did it with Ukraine in 1932-1933, and now they want to bring the famine to the world," said the trade envoy.
He recalled that Russia had argued in the World Trade Organisation that it had the right to take aggressive security measures against Ukraine.
"Now Russia is blocking exports from Ukrainian seaports, destroying food storages and fields in Ukraine and stealing grain," Kachka noted.
