"Russia always lies" - senior adviser to US Congress calls for long-range missiles to be provided to Ukraine

The US official responsible for sanctions and anti-dictatorship has written around  20 tweets after the Russian strike on Odesa, which set a port with crops on fire. In the tweets, Paul Massaro repeated the phrase "Russia always lies" several times.

An advisor to the congress  stated that the latest Russian strikes on the Odesa port, only hours after agreeing not to attack it, are demanding  to give Ukraine the long-range missiles.

Paul Massaro called on the West to stop saying publicly what it cannot do to protect Ukraine, because it provokes Putin.

He also added a graphic with an explanation: "How to understand that Russia is lying?"

Paul Massaro is a senior policy advisor at the US Helsinki Commission, also known as the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, whose responsibilities include anti-corruption, human rights, sanctions, illicit financing and energy security.
