Nearly 80% of Russians avoid occupied Crimea due to security risks - Ukraine intelligence
Russian citizens are increasingly avoiding vacations in occupied Crimea due to the peninsula's security situation
This was reported by Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate.
“Nearly 80% of Russians have canceled tours to occupied Sevastopol for June 2024, and over a third of all tours to Crimea were canceled last month,” the statement said.
The main reason for the cancellations was the challenging security situation, including concerns about the reliability of the Russian air defense system.
Intelligence sources also noted the Kerch Bridge as a risk factor, as it remains “the main artery for so-called tourism from Russia and is used by Moscow for military logistics.”

On June 17, Ukrainian officials reported that Russia was imitating the holiday season on the Azov Sea coast and selling tours to the temporarily occupied Berdiansk and Kyrylivka to residents of Rostov.
