Putin will definitely conduct mobilization next year — Head of Reservists’s Council of Ukrainian Ground Forces
Ivan Tymochko, a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, chairman of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Land Forces, believes that Ukraine needs to prepare for additional mobilization
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"It is becoming increasingly clear that Putin will mobilize next year. But we are not Russians, we cannot take 100,000 people and just throw them to the front to close some gaps, as they do. Therefore, we need to prepare and remember that there is a war in the country, and we have to defend ourselves," emphasized Tymochko.
The Head of the Council of Reservists also added that Ukraine needs additional mobilization.
"It is important to understand that mobilization is not a one-time thing, but a long-term thing. Currently, new military units are being created in Ukraine. Our allies provide us with equipment, but not people. People still need to be provided with proper training centers and equipment. And this takes time, so that we don't have to solve problems in a firefighting mode later," Tymochko explained.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared information that the General Staff has asked for the mobilization of an additional 450,000-500,000 Ukrainians.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not support the idea of mobilizing women for the war with Russia.
