Poroshenko hands over Valkyrja UAV complex to intelligence officers
Petro Poroshenko has already handed over the Valkyrja UAV complex with a ground control station to one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' units fighting in the Donetsk region
This was reported by the website of the European Solidarity party.
Specialists who work with drones in combat conditions highly appreciate the effectiveness of these “birds”. Intelligence officers say that the equipment is extremely necessary, and they were waiting for these UAVs. The military handed Poroshenko a letter of gratitude for constant support and help. Petro Poroshenko emphasizes: such awards are the most valuable.
“The Valkyrja unmanned aerial vehicle showed its class back in 2017. It already instilled fear in the enemies. Today it is also in demand among our military. It perfectly copes with its task - conducting tactical aerial reconnaissance. It flies deep up to 20 km, captures the enemy's positions, transmits the data to the artillery, and it does its job,” Poroshenko noted.
Valkyrja developers are also working on other important projects for Ukraine's Armed Forces, but they do not talk about them. Poroshenko says: there are plans for a special center for comprehensive training.
“These are the developers and manufacturers of Valkyrja, Kropyva and several other projects, about which we cannot say now, but they will be very worthy. We agreed that we will create a joint training center. Not only UAVs will be coordinated. The Kropyva complex and the ACS automation complex are also involved, and there are many things that we jointly do with these brilliant developers at the expense of the Roshen funds. I am proud that our joint participation produces such products, which now play a powerful role,” the fifth president of Ukraine said.
“I know, these two birds will circle over the heads of the enemies and make 'babovna' (the word 'bavovna is used to refer to explosions that destroy the occupying Russian forces and their munitions depots - ed.),” Petro Poroshenko is convinced.
