Deutsche Welle reported the information citing a statement by the chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen.
"The prosecution of possible war crimes in Ukraine is on the agenda of the Munich Security Conference next week," the article says.
The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, will join the meeting.
Next Monday, Heusgen will present the entire program of the security conference, which will be attended by high-ranking representatives from around the world.
At the same time, the chairman of the Munich Conference mentioned the downing of the MH17 passenger plane in July 2014 over eastern Ukraine.
"It is not surprising that the Kremlin was also involved in this horrific act," he added.
