Over 311,000 explosive devices are neutralized in Ukraine during full-scale invasion
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, pyrotechnics have defused more than 311,000 explosive devices
This is reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"In total, since the beginning of Russia's large-scale military invasion of Ukraine, 311,044 explosive objects and 2,891 kg of explosives have been defused," the press service said..
It is reported that pyrotechnics also defused 2,156 aircraft bombs and inspected about 77,295 hectares of land.
On December 29, rescuers performed 116 demining tasks on the territory of 51 hectares. They defused 261 explosive devices.
Pyrotechnics worked most often in Kharkiv region - 13,879 times, Kyiv region - 7,075, Chernihiv region - 4,312, Donetsk region - 3,268, Mykolaiv region - 2,627, Sumy region - 1683, Kherson region - 1,588 and Cherkasy region - 1,077 times.
If you detect a suspicious object or explosive, immediately report it to the State Emergencies Service by calling 101.
It is strictly forbidden to:

touch the object and move it;

use radio communication equipment and mobile phones (they can provoke an explosion);

pour liquids, cover it with soil or cover it with something;

touch the suspicious device and make sound, light, heat or mechanical impact on it because almost all explosives are poisonous and sensitive to mechanical, sound and heat.

On December 28, the Ukrainian State Emergencies Service reported that on December 27, pyrotechnics inspected about 6.2 hectares of territory and 5.7 kilometers of power lines in the Kharkiv region. The sappers found and neutralized 103 enemy mines, explosives and ammunition. The work involved 86 rescuers and 34 units of equipment.
On that day, two civilians were blown up by an explosive device in the forest in Kharkiv region. The father and son were going fishing.
On December 30 Ukrainian sappers will train in the Kyiv region. Civilians are warned about the sounds of explosions.
