"Our allies did not support it": Ukrainian MP criticizes Ukraine's position at UN regarding resolution directed against Israel
Mykola Kniazhytskyi, a Ukrainian lawmaker from the European Solidarity party, has criticized Ukraine's support for the resolution on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East
Kniazhytskyi wrote about this on Facebook.
“And about our international policy. For some reason, on October 30, Ukraine supported the UN resolution on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East, which was directed against Israel. The US, Poland, the Baltic countries, all our closest allies and donors did not support this resolution. Why do we support it? And just now, when due to the efforts of many, military cooperation with Israel has finally begun? And when there are elections in Israel? Why?” Kniazhytskyi wrote.
At the same time, the lawmaker noted positive changes in Ukraine's position regarding the genocide of the Uyghurs in China.
“There is also positive news. For the first time after many mistakes, Ukraine supported concern for the Uyghur issue. We have the only opportunity to win in Russia, which is supported by other authoritarian regimes. We must stand in solidarity with democratic countries and build an exemplary democracy!!!” Kniazhytskyi concluded.
