OC South says that Ukrainian counteroffensive is already "taking small steps"

Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for the South Operational Command, told We-Ukraine TV channel.

"We have no tendency to underestimate the enemy. We know the specifics of the formation of this group, we understand its power and potential. And we are working methodically to minimize these powers and capabilities," the spokeswoman said.

Humeniuk emphasized that the counteroffensive involves small but steady steps, which "everyone is waiting for it to start."

"And it is quietly moving, with such small but confident steps. And it is going to the point where the enemy's capabilities are being destroyed," said Humeniuk.

She is talking about the destruction of ammunition depots, points of concentration of equipment and places where Russian army personnel are accumulated: "Even a not very organized grouping is becoming completely scattered."
