It is noted that the Ukrainian authorities requested this type of equipment to fight the Russian invasion.
Such a drone is used in a number of allied countries, including the USA and Great Britain. The drone is used for reconnaissance and target identification. Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram said it is easy to operate, robust, difficult to detect and particularly well-suited for combat operations in urban areas.
They add that they will also purchase the Nightfighter anti-drone system from the British SteelRock Technologies. It provides protection against drones through effective jamming. The system is particularly suitable for the protection of small patrols, artillery positions and other important assets.
"Norway and Great Britain remain determined to stand side by side with Ukraine. These advanced drones will help give Ukrainian forces a vital advantage on the battlefield," said British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace.
