Russian civilians evacuated to Ukraine after Russia’s deadly strike on shelter
Kellogg made this statement in an interview with Fox News.
“It is in the national security interest of the United States to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war. If we can stop this war, it will benefit the entire world, including the United States,” he said.
Kellogg added that “achieving a ceasefire and lasting peace is possible within months, not years.”
According to him, to achieve this, Trump “will create leverage for both Kyiv and Moscow” because “the president knows where and how to apply pressure.”
“He is skilled at making deals,” the U.S. special representative emphasized.
At the same time, Keith Kellogg noted that the decision on possible additional sanctions against Russia to achieve progress in ending the war “rests with President Trump.”
