Next year Ukraine will produce million drones — Zelenskyy

He made the statement at a press conference broadcast on Espreso TV.

"I am positive about the growth in both drone capabilities and the establishment of specialized units. It is essential to develop an infrastructure for managing drones. I just had a meeting and wanted to understand one of the key issues - the production of drones and their supply. And I really don't like the fact that we still have bureaucratic Soviet processes in place logistically.

When 26,000 drones were sitting in one warehouse and did not reach the front. It was very loud at the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, but there can't be such pauses and problems. I'm just amazed that what we have produced can't reach the front. We will overcome this, the logistics," the President of Ukraine said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers would receive domestically-produced drones in their brigades.

"As for production, we will produce a million drones next year. We will make a million. We will do everything to make it happen. I know it will happen. Artillery will increase. As for 155 mm caliber, unfortunately, it is difficult to get shells because it is a very scarce product. We have to work on it. We cannot relax. By the way, the Defense Industries Forum in the United States was very good. We met with the world's leading and most powerful companies. It will get better, everything takes time. But we will produce a million drones," Zelenskyy emphasized.
