Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.
"Our people are continuously suffering from Russian terror. This week alone, Russia has used more than 600 guided aerial bombs, more than 60 Shaheds and almost 40 missiles of various types," Zelenskyy wrote.
He also thanked the United States and Germany for providing Ukraine with air defense systems this week, including Patriot.
"But to protect all our cities and villages, to really overcome Russian terror, we need more concrete solutions. And we will work with our partners next week to develop such solutions - we are already preparing them," the President added.
- On July 4, the United States announced a new aid package for Ukraine. It included missiles for HIMARS and air defense systems, artillery shells, and other critical supplies.
- Also on Friday, July 5, German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger said that Kyiv had already received the third Patriot anti-aircraft missile system from Berlin.
