Ukraine's SOF repel North Korean assault in Kursk, killing 18

According to the press service of the SOF, the confrontation lasted from morning until night. During the battle, rangers with Ukraine’s 6th Regiment of the Special Forces neutralized 17 DPRK soldiers, while another combatant detonated a grenade, taking his own life.

"In the morning, an SOF clearing group encountered a surviving DPRK soldier who had set an improvised trap. The soldier attempted to deceive the SOF fighters and detonate a grenade to harm them. However, when they approached, he detonated the grenade, resulting in his death," the SOF reported.

The SOF soldiers identified the danger in time and quickly evacuated the area, ensuring no Ukrainian personnel were injured during the incident.
