Russian troops close to bypassing Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration – editor-in-chief of Suspilne. Donbass
Russian forces are advancing south of Pokrovsk, pushing from the direction of Udachne and moving toward Pokrovsk itself and its outskirts
This update was shared by Andriy Kramchenkov, editor-in-chief of Suspilne. Donbas, during an appearance on Espreso TV.
"East of Pokrovsk is Myrnohrad. Russian troops are trying to bypass the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration from the east, near the village of Vozdvyzhenka. They’re advancing north toward the highway, there’s about two kilometers left. Mortars can already cover this range, let alone artillery. We stopped using the Pokrovsk-Konstiantynivka road long ago. Traffic is now routed to a bypass road since FPV drones are active in the area. Civilians’ cars have been burned here, so we avoid this route," he explained.
In Myrnohrad, artillery fire — both barrel and rocket — remains relentless. Small arms fire is audible, and FPV drone detectors continuously signal activity, posing a constant threat, Kramchenkov added.
"When we were in Myrnohrad, the hospital and the high-rise across from it were still intact. But yesterday, Yuriy Tretyak, the acting head of the city’s military administration, shared photos showing significant damage to the hospital. Judging by the photos, it was hit by an air bomb. Just two days ago, everything was still standing. Shops next to the hospital, as well as the nine-story building across the street, were all damaged in the bombing. There’s no information yet about casualties or injuries," he said.
- Earlier reports indicated Russian forces were attempting to bypass Pokrovsk from the south to cut off logistics while avoiding urban battles.
