Russia can easily launch new offensive anywhere on frontline - AFU officer
Ihor Lapin, a Special Forces officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, thinks Russia can easily get ready for new attacks anywhere on the frontline because of its unlimited mobilization resources
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV on June 5.
"Currently, there are over 500,000 occupation troops in Ukraine. They're gathering additional reserves, evident in the recent attack on the Kharkiv region. This isn't their last reserve, either. Post-election mobilization poses no challenge for Putin. Internal issues in Russia are unlikely, thanks to Putin's FSB system, capable of suppressing any rebellion. Additionally, Russia has a million-strong army of conscripts signing contracts for various reasons,” Lapin explained.
The officer believes that Russia can easily prepare for a new offensive on any part of the frontline.
"So far, Russia doesn't face financial problems either. Trade continues, and sanctions aren't fully effective. Therefore, with Putin having unlimited human resources and a significant advantage in artillery and shells, despite our achievements, he can easily organize a new offensive on any part of the front. The only issue is ensuring that the organization and preparation for such an offensive remain undetected," Lapin added.
