Syrskyi stated this on Telegram on June 6.
"We're enhancing military command structures to improve efficiency and eliminate redundancy. This aligns with our strategy for the Armed Forces' development until 2035," Syrskyi stated.
He highlighted that this long-term planning is a first for Ukraine. The optimization of the General Staff includes reducing units and focusing on core functions, strengthening command bodies in combat zones.
Additionally, the formation of the Unmanned Systems Forces is underway.
"Our aim, despite Russia's aggression, is to establish a promising Armed Forces structure for Ukraine until we join NATO," Syrskyi emphasized.
