Maybe we have two Сonstitutions: one for everyone and one for the select few?

On what grounds can someone whose job description involves managing workflow for the President's Office get involved in the actual duties of the Head of State?

Minister Reznikov reminded all Ukrainians of their constitutional duty: to defend the state. That’s right. We should all follow the Constitution. It is our sacred duty, and nobody denies that.

I would really like to find out where in the Constitution the President's Office Head responsibilities are stated, because he seems to manage foreign policy, information and defense, to accompany the President, to participate in high level meetings, to appoint ambassadors, manage the power bloc, plan operations together with the AFU Commander-in-Chief and meet with the top military leadership of NATO countries, such as General Mark Milley.

Is there even such a position mentioned in the Constitution? No? Oh really?

"How can someone hired for the President's Office workflow organization deal with the President’s responsibilities? Show me the laws which allow that. Are there no such laws? And Reznikov, who is a lawyer, did not know about this? So, must only some of us be law-abiding while others abide by their wishes?"

It does not add up. Because, according to Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, everything that our head of the President's Office takes care of must be done by the President. Or maybe there are two Constitutions: one for all and one for the chosen? After all, the Constitution must not be violated. Well, you can, but it won’t last. It has already been confirmed in our recent history.

“Maybe there are two Constitutions: one for all and one for the chosen?”

By the way, White House chief of staff Jeffrey Zients posted a photo of the first working day in his new position. Before that, Ronald Klein managed Biden's affairs. How surprising it is that the news did not even mention it. And the world did not fall apart. They simply changed the world’s most influential politician’s chief of the office. That's it. While here in Ukraine…

We should recall the Constitution from time to time. All Ukrainians should. Even those who wear khaki sweatshirts and tactical pants to the President’s Office.
