Lukashenko's latest statements show how terribly scared he is - Ukrainian MP Nalyvaichenko
Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, MP, former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, notes that Lukashenko has realized after the Machulishchy incident that he is now vulnerable, as have been all his airfields storing Russian MiG, Su, and A-50 aircraft
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
Valentyn Nalyvaichenko commented on Lukashenko's statements and accusations addressed to Ukraine and President Zelenskyy about Ukrainian saboteurs on the territory of Belarus during the attack on the A-50 aircraft in Machulishchy.
"More than a thousand kilometers of the common border between Belarus and Ukraine remains a huge threat to us now. Our North command keeps a fairly serious group of Ukrainian troops there to defend Ukraine. I can tell you that Lukashenko is making these statements because he is terrified. He is scared because an A-50 radar aircraft was destroyed by drones 11 kilometers from Minsk at the airfield in Machulishchy," explained the MP.
Valentyn Nalyvaichenko added that this A-50 was a powerful reconnaissance aircraft that had a full view of the territory of Ukraine.
"The main thing is that Lukashenko saw that he is now vulnerable, like all his airfields with Russian MiGs, Su and A-50s. The inevitable retribution is now hanging over Lukashenko and his regime like an ax, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now gradually able and have the arsenal to respond to these missile attacks on Ukraine launched from the territory of Russia and using the territory of Belarus. According to the decision of our General Staff, we are not yet launching such missiles and destroying military equipment at airfields in Russia and Belarus only because Ukraine is defending its territory and we need these weapons here. But both Lukashenko and Putin are well aware that over time, Ukraine will become stronger, and the Ukrainian army will receive and have weapons to hit military terrorist targets in Belarus and Russia," Nalyvaichenko emphasized.
