Kyiv needs heavy weapons, and Europe must be ready to take next step: Roberta Metsola calls for further support for Ukraine

She said this in her speech, which was published on the website of the European Parliament.

Roberta Metzola noted that new difficult times await Europe, when it will have to deal with "the storm of inflation, political uncertainty, food shortages, rising costs of living and dwindling energy reserves at a time when electricity prices are skyrocketing".  And she reminded that these challenges will have to be dealt with in the context of Russia's war in Ukraine.
