Kremlin announces Putin's visit to occupied Kherson and Luhansk regions
Russian President Vladimir Putin has allegedly visited the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Luhansk regions
This was reported by the Kremlin's press service and Russian media.
On the morning of April 18, Putin allegedly visited the headquarters of the Dnepr military grouping in the Kherson direction, where he listened to reports from the commander of the airborne troops, Colonel-General Teplinsky, and the commander of the group, Colonel-General Makarevich, and asked the military to express their opinion on the situation in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.
At this headquarters, the Russian president congratulated the military on Easter and presented them with a copy of an icon that he said belonged to "one of the most successful defense ministers of the Russian Empire."
The Kremlin leader then allegedly went to the headquarters of the Vostok National Guard, located in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. He received reports from Colonel General Lapin and other officers on the situation in this area.
The Kremlin says that Putin's working trips to the headquarters were not prepared in advance.
